This week’s prompt is a chain story! I’ll give you the first line, and someone else comments and builds off that line. Next commenter will build off that line, and so on.
In the event of two commenters posting at the same time and sending the story in different directions, just pick the line you like best, or try to incorporate both if can.

The reply was chilling: "I mean: has ceased breathing, heart has ceased beating, will not talk on earth any more, whether there is a judgement day or not ..."

ReplyDeleteLook inside his jacket. See it? The handle of the chef's knife? The blade went clear through, stuck into the wall, and is holding him up.
ReplyDeleteRandall spun on his heel to face the classroom wall. He turned back more slowly. 'Ha, you're sick, you know that? Your ex is dead ok? It'll be all around school in a few nano seconds. I thought you should hear it first from me,' he shrugged.

ReplyDeleteIt sounded like Marley's ghost, but they all knew, unlike the victim, Marley was dead to begin with...
