I'm heading out at hurt-thirty in the morning tomorrow on vacation, so you may or may not hear from me until July 20th. If I have time, I'll try to pop in and share any writing thoughts that enter my jet-lagged mind while I'm gone.
If anyone is heading out to Chicago and the ALA Conference, stop by the HarperCollins Childrens booth. My wonderful publisher Balzer & Bray is featuring The Shifter, both at the booth and at the fiction breakfast. Tell them I said hello.
Wish I was going, but alas, it's not to be. Maybe next year.
Have fun all! Watch some cheesy movies for me and recommend the really bad (or good depending on how you look at it) ones.
Hope you have a great time. Your book sounds very interesting. YA? What does it mean? See you!
ReplyDeleteI saw tons of copies of THE SHIFTER on the breakfast tables. It was really cool to see them there along with THE EVERAFTER. It made me wish you were there with me, though! I told people how AWESOME I think your book is!
ReplyDeleteJust read Shifter. Fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to do well.
Hey Janice, I hope I'm not imposing, but I wanted to let you know I put something up on my book review blog about The Shifter. Please keep in mind that I have probably 1 reader, and even he doesn't read it regularly, so it's not like I'm giving you all sorts of publicity by this. Really just wanted to pay respects since I get so much help from your blog.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, check it out here: http://www.colinreviews.com/?p=198
gaelikaa, YA = young adult. And thanks! Had a great time, even if I am exhausted now.
ReplyDeleteAmy, that's so cool! A member of my crit group sent me a photo. I wish I could have been there with you too.
Thanks EA! I got s thrill just reading your comment :) (for those who don't read Editorial Anonymous's blog, click my link now and go visit. Great stuff)
Thanks ColinF! That's so sweet of you.
