We Interrupt This Blog for a Hurricane

Hi guys!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm one of the many, many people in Florida currently weathering Hurricane Irma (she's expected to make landfall in South Florida Saturday, and hit us here in Central Florida on Sunday). There's a very decent chance we'll be without power, and I don't know for how long.

I already have several guest author posts scheduled and ready to go, but after the 12th, the site might go dark for a bit. Hopefully not, but you can never tell with a hurricane.

If you live in Florida, Georgia, or the Carolinas, stay safe and dry and hunker down.

I'll let everyone know when I'm back online.

  10. Thanks all! We lost power for a few days, but we're all okay. No damage to our house, though that's not the case with a lot of people. We got incredibly lucky here. Irma hit us almost head on, but had weakened to a Cat 1, with Cat 2 gusts. Of course, we had no power then, so we didn't know she'd turned until after it was over.

Hope my fellow Floridians and their families are all safe as well.
