A New Year, A New Interview, and a Little Housekeeping

Happy New Year, everyone!

Hard to believe 2014 is here already, but I feel it's going to be a great year. I have a lot of exciting things planned, and you'll be seeing some changes here over the next few weeks. That's one reason why the blog has been quiet over the holidays--that and my much-needed break to regain my sanity and my sleep. But I'll be back to my regular schedule come Monday, and the next Real Life Diagnostic will be up tomorrow.

In other news...

In support of the awesome Coastal Magic Con in February (of which I'm one of the featured authors), there's an interview with me up at Joyfully Interview, so pop on over and check it out. Maybe someone can tell me what "manscaping" is, as I had no clue for one of the questions. I suspect I really don't want to know however...

There's still time to register for the conference and it's a great con to attend. The author round up is fantastic this year and I'm excited to meet quite a few of those folks myself. And of course see old friends and fans. Besides, who doesn't want to go to Daytona, FL in February? Sunshine, beaches, authors, books...mmmm.....

Here's how to Register for Coastal Magic
WHEN: February 6-9, 2014
WHERE: Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort
100 North Atlantic Avenue
Daytona Beach, FL 32118
386-254-8200

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and is ready for a fabulous year. Share your stories! Anyone do anything fun?

  1. Fun interview, Janice! And manscaping...I think if I say it has to do with shaving, you'll get it. :-)

We got a puppy for Christmas, only six weeks old--so that's been fun, trying to get any work done between feeding, taking her out, playing with her, taking her out, sleeping, then taking her out. Um...yeah. Someday I may actually write again...;-)

    1. Aw, how sweet! (the puppy, not the manscaping) And thanks for the nudge. I now know what it is. Some things can't be unlearned.

  2. Manscaping is common in Los Angeles, but nonexistent on Duck Dynasty... get it?

  3. Hmmm....manscaping. Okay, it just sounds like a funny word. But just know it involves taking a hairy man and then taking away the hairy lol!!

2014 really did hit us with its presence. Just seems 2013 went so fast. But I look forward to this year being a great year.

Hoping the best for your conference :-)

    1. Now I wish I had answered that one (grin). I know what you mean, it was like, June just a few days ago.

Thanks! Should be a lot of fun.

  4. Isn't manscaping when someone breaks out of prison?

    Good to have you back.

    1. Thanks! That sounds lovely. It's nice having a break right before the year starts all over again. Like an annual reset button.
