On Friday I mixed a few things up. Two new writing sites, both from gals with the same name, and I got a tad confused. So, let me correct things and tell everyone about two very cool new sites for those looking for writing advice and those to share it with.
First up is The Write Advice, a Facebook page that links in several popular blogs that consistently offer great advice. For those who are a little short on time, you can get multiple feeds at once. (And yes, you can also find me there)
Next on the list is Ladies Who Critique, a free match up service to help ladies who write find other ladies who write for crit groups and crit partners. Think of it like Match.com for writers. You'll be seeing a guest post from me about those negative crit group experiences sometime next week. I'll link to it when it goes live.
These both look like excellent sites. I missed the mixed up one, but this looks very helpful. I'm always getting requests from people looking for critique partners. Now we need one for the guys!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this. I liked your new group.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to tell people about the WriteOnCon conference that starts tomorrow. http://writeoncon.com/
How did you know I was looking to join a Crit Group? Thanks, Janice!
ReplyDeleteThanks for plugging The Write Advice. I'm so excited for you to be part of it!
ReplyDeleteThat crit site looks awesome too. You always lead me well :)
Happy to help Laura. Best of luck on the site!
ReplyDeleteNatalie, oh darn, I would have done something on WriteCon. I was away last week and didn't get a chance to check comments and email every day.
