I got a stack of ARCs for Blue Fire on Thursday (squee!) and they look great. It's so fun to hold them in my hands, and carry them around like little kittens. (Okay, not really, I only did that on the first book). It's still exciting, even though it's book two and a bit of that first thrill is gone. That's probably a good thing since I was way too goofy when The Shifter ARCs arrived. I'm not calling everyone I know and giggling into the phone like a lunatic.
I've already been asked when folks can get their hands on a copy. I'll do a few contests toward the end of the year, probably starting in July and ramping up to the October 5 release date. I also assume they'll be at the various industry trade shows and conferences, so if you happen to be lucky enough to attend those, you might be able to snag one before the contests.
Fun stuff, even if I'll be on pins and needles for a while now, waiting for early reviews to come in. Who knew writing was such a tense business?
