The handprint is all that is left from that day. She didn't have time to use the doorframe when she ran after him when he left for his train back to his former home. Enough was enough, and in a week or two even the handprint is gone when the windows have been polished... Love can be eternal, but is soon gone with the wind once we decide not to feed it with the necessary positive vibrations to keep it alive.
