As are Einstein and Hawking. The beauty of science is it is constantly tested. If hypotheses don't agree with data they are revised. Consequently, there is only one science. And hurrah for that! :)lesleylsmithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14872977902924014581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-63084535325083505292017-05-25T09:42:36.318-04:002017-05-25T09:42:36.318-04:00I love fantasy, too. Fantastical! And super fun. :)lesleylsmithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14872977902924014581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-31893391019307843192017-05-16T16:22:30.791-04:002017-05-16T16:22:30.791-04:00Fantasy isn't irrational. Building an authentic fantasy world, magic system, etc., requires logical thinking on the part of the author because the world, etc., have to make sense within the parameters the writer sets for the world. Townsend Brown, Paul Dirac,Dewey B. Larson, to name a scant few. A great living scientist is Wal Thornhill. I am an aspiring, world-building oriented SF writer (more of the dark 'new' space opera variety, and I began looking into scientific realism several years ago. What I discovered is the Standard Model stuff (from Einstein to Hawking) is just mathematical junk-science. The universe is based on plasma, and electricity. Unavoidably, I know, I sound like a proselyte here; but I genuinely feel I am doing a service by pointing those who are interested in what I believe is the right direction. Now, as to narratively framing this challenging material into an accessible story, that is another matter...
Here are some sites I find edifying:
http://www.holoscience.com/wp/
https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/
https://www.youtube.com/user/ThunderboltsProject
http://www.rationalphysics.info/Phineas Cromwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13921214682455282133noreply@blogger.com
