It becomes a real labour of love and expression of faith when you can stare at your editor's invoice and have no idea when, or even if, you'll break even.Paul Anthony Shortthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14393249001158230985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-13323436922723896072015-03-12T11:41:31.638-04:002015-03-12T11:41:31.638-04:00Ack, sorry S.R. It's tempting to go trad for the exposure, but I would urge authors doing so to talk to other authors at their targeted houses and lines, and see what they're really going to receive.

best,
Cathryn Cade

Cathryn Cadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10714037225684245673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-2558255318199974632015-03-12T10:41:25.040-04:002015-03-12T10:41:25.040-04:00Great informative blog, Janice. Though I do know a few authors who have published via the traditional path and the expectation that they will do a lot of self marketing is very evident.
www.louisecharles.comLouise Charleshttp://www.louisecharles.comnoreply@blogger.com
