I'd never thought about God "taking away" my stories, but the Bible does mention taking away our "talents" if we don't exercise them like we should.

You know, your #firstworldproblem reminds me of a line from Fiddler on the Roof: If riches are a curse, "may the Lord smite me with it! And I remember your expression of guilt...

The #FirstWorldProblems meme is a difficult one. Yes, many of us would LOVE to have the problem of being contractually obligated to produce words month after month. However the reality is much different from the dream; the anxiety of knowing that some authority is expecting something from you can greatly hamper the creative process that is necessary to fulfill that demand.

Both #FirstWorldProblems and #SuccessfulWriterProblems are still very real problems.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-39136139256885903042012-11-15T12:55:23.517-05:002012-11-15T12:55:23.517-05:00That is the wackiest and most awesome line from Mi...That is the wackiest and most awesome line from Michael Jackson. I kind of love it. I've been there and I get it. I've had characters in my head prevent me from reading a book to the point I at least have to jot some notes down if I'm too tired to boot up the laptop. Fortunately for me, my husband is a musician and he gets artistic ambition. He encourages me to let dishes pile up and will fix me dinner if it means I'm making progress in my writing.

Great post, as always. I bookmarked the Han Solo one, btw. It was my kind of inspiration.Stephscohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06328839483008086049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-23074924338982020502012-11-15T10:16:29.819-05:002012-11-15T10:16:29.819-05:00LOL. Yes you're a writer and it's hard and it's a job, but what emerges is wonderful. So type, damn you! Type your fingers to bloody stubs! And when the words are out you can then ask Andrew for a hand massage and for him to kiss you better (we love Andrew too!) ;) [Rosie]FANGBOOKShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07839519798942417549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901370917824739259.post-69708149847841239402012-11-15T07:16:17.448-05:002012-11-15T07:16:17.448-05:00That line will resonate with me forevah!
