Remember, the character'...Happy to help, Marti! Remember, the character's motivation -- WHY they need to succeed -- is all about what the character needs on the inside. Every interesting character starts the story lacking something in life that he or she desperately needs to find. For example:<br /><br />• love<br />• justice<br />• respect<br />• revenge<br />• acceptance<br />• success<br />• survival<br />• etc.<br /><br />Keep brainstorming and asking questions until you get there.
