Marketing: Author Events

While the big title books get a marketing budget from the publisher, for smaller books, the author is in a position to contribute a lot personally. Raising awareness is the key, but how do we do that?

In-person Author Events get you out there meeting people and promoting your book. It takes time, energy, a willingness to speak in front of groups and like a political campaign, it starts small and grows slowly.
